Christopher Wade //CEO
Nutshell: As a former Navy Submariner, Chris began developing custom GIS data visualization and management solutions for the finance and environmental science industries in the early 1990’s. He then ran two successful start-ups as CTO, first developing an online foreign currency trading platform and later, building enterprise GIS solutions for Department of Defense emergency management, weapons inventory, and infrastructure support. Chris founded Velosys in 2011 with good friends and continues to surround himself with brilliantly talented people while maintaining a wonderfully collaborative partnership with customers.

Brandon Berndtson //VP Operations
Nutshell: Brandon's start in the technology industry was at Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer. Graduating from the University of Washington (Go Huskies) in Computer Science, he moved on to software development, creating and maintaining apps in the medical, DOD, and finance industries. While still writing code, Brandon manages the software development team for our Commercial Services.

Johnny Tran //CTO
Nutshell: Johnny has over 18 years experience in software architecture, design, development, and network infrastructure. He has worked in a broad range of industries including financial, gaming, real estate, education, managed health care, patient care, and food service. Lately he's been fine-tuning existing skill sets while focusing on building apps for both enterprise and consumers, and tirelessly exploring emerging technologies for customer solutions.
Tracy Lynn //Senior Software Developer
Nutshell: Tracy has over 25 years of deep experience in software design, architecture, and development on large scale financial, military, and custom software solutions. After graduating from UCLA, she spent the early part of her career developing Mission Planning software for the US Air Force and has held top-level security clearances. She worked on GIS data visualization tools and applications for government and industry, and was a lead developer with a financial start-up working on an online currency-trading platform. Currently, Tracy spends her days incorporating complex mathematical modeling into a streamlined UI for one of our financial customers. She excels in understanding business processes and logic of liability driven investment (LDI) solutions and she applies that knowledge to software tools and applications that automate client investment strategies in a trillion dollar market.
Javin Elliff //Senior Software Developer
Nutshell: Javin is a multi-faceted developer who balances a keen understanding of business processes with precision detail in his development work. He has ten years of design and development experience performing front end web and mobile application development. He has focused on developing native iOS applications for over five years, has developed several complex iPhone and iPad applications for enterprise users, and has several products in the App Store.
Evelyn Wilder //Multidisciplinary Designer
Nutshell: Evelyn is graphic and web designer who carefully balances form, function, and usability in order to find the best solution for every design problem. After graduating from the Film School at UCLA, Evelyn spent ten years managing motion picture and television editing teams in Los Angeles, where she developed a ridiculous level of attention to detail. She applies this tic to the design of websites, software, and mobile apps. Evelyn also tackles research, marketing, and project management in her role at Velosys.
